HONDA CITY: Keeping in mind the cut-throat competition in mind, Honda introduced a facelifted model of the city Sedan which is loaded with extensive version of exterior, 7-inch advanced infotainment, capacitive touchscreen, mirrorlink support, voice recognition, automatic climate control and cruise control and dual airbags is ranged at around 8.49 lacs (in Delhi).

HYUNDAI VERNA: A very strong contender in the list because of its new-generation model. Fresh styling and aspirational features, similar to Elantra. Amazing exterior and Interiors with steering mounted audio & Bluetooth control, fully automatic air-conditioning, and touchscreen infotainment system, for safety there are dual airbags in the front. The only car in the segment providing 4 engine options ranges at around 7.95 lacs (in Delhi).

VOLKSWAGEN VENTO + SKODA RAPID: The 2 volkswagen AG carsare manufactured on the same platform and also share the same engine options. Although VW Vento has 3 options to choose from. Both Vento and Rapid have a touchscreen infotainment system, mirrorlink connectivity, automatic air conditioning, steering mounted controls. With dual airbags the price of both ranges at: VW Vento: 8.29 lacs (Delhi) and Rapid: 8.27 lacs (Delhi).

NISSAN SUNNY: As mentioned earlier as the most affordable car in the segment. It faced a price cut of Rs. 1.9 lacs which made it affordable among its peers. Having an all Black interior with Black premium fabric seats, intelligent key, rear parking sensor & camera, automatic air conditioning and push button start. For safety, Nissan has airbags at driver’s side alongwith  brake assist as standard  across the entire range. Price ranges between Rs. 6.99-8.99 lacs (Delhi).

MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT: The car went on sale in India in February 2018 and as of June 2018, the company had already sold over 1 lac cars. One of the hottest cars in India features a refreshing exterior design, new interiors. The company has worked on the fuel efficiency of the car giving you the mileage of 22 kmpl in the petrol model and of 28.4 kmpl in the diesel. The improvised car range starts at Rs. 4.99 lacs (Delhi).

FORD FREESTYLE: The all new freestyle is the first car from the company based on Figo hatchback. The car has a wonderful road presence, equipped with smart features like a dash-top touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse parking system, dual airbags and ABS as standard. The price range starts from Rs. 5.09 to 7.89 lacs (Delhi).
